Friday night we had dinner with Daniel and Maddie. He recently bought this house with an amazing back yard and pool.

Saturday morning I took Olivia to Busch Gardens. We rode rides, the train, and watched the clydesdales. This was taken at the very end while watching Elmo on stage.

Olivia outside last Saturday
This my attempt at taking her picture in front of bright flowers
Determined to get where she wants to go
Watching Dad work outside

Love the tub!

Last night when Bill got home from work, he played outside with Olivia while I finished making dinner. She cried, no screamed actually, when he started to dry her off.

New hall chandelier

This is our new chandelier!
It's much brighter than our other ceiling light, and it makes pretty shadows on our bare walls.

"Swimming"

For a few weeks now, everytime Olivia sees water, she's just dying to jump in. This past Sunday it was about 90 degrees, so we filled up her tin tub and she had a great time.

On Tuesday we went to the Sysco food fair in VA Beach. Olivia's favorite part was walking around in the lobby. There is a long pond with fountains along the inside edge and she just couldn't stay away. I tried to explain it wasn't just a huge bath for her...

**note, the video is very loud**

It's the simple things...
She has discovered how to open our kitchen cabinets and drawers.
Our good friend Mark promoted to Lieutenant Colonel Friday. We're glad we could be a part of his special day.

Easter

Here are the only pics we have from Easter Sunday. Olivia is watching the Egg Drop from inside the building because it was freezing out. She wanted to have her sunglasses on anyhow.

Grandpa and Grandma Sprouse with Olivia. She's always on the go, so most pictures are "action shots"

Loves some orange

Grandma and Grandpa Sprouse are here for the weekend. It was almost 80 today so we were outside a little. Olivia had Thai for the first time and loves both yellow curry and pad thai.
I've been playing around on my keyboard and Olivia likes playing too. Grandpa is the most patient with her.

It's official, she's walking

Olivia has been trying really hard to walk this week. It has finally paid off!

Weekend

We had a great weekend. Olivia is feeling so much better and has been trying to walk more. Friday it was beautiful out and Bill took her "walking" outside. (see video below) Saturday evening we went to Busch Gardens for dinner (she ate half of our smokehouse sampler!) and I took her on 2 rides in Dragonland. She was scared at first, but then loved it! Bill was so gracious to watch the stroller and let me experience the rides with her.

These pictures are hot off the press from toinght after church. She loves to play!

Our poor baby has had a rough couple weeks. I know she's probably just average and some kids have been hit much worse, but it's hard to see her so sick. Here's a timeline of the last 2 weeks.

Thursday March 19th- One year well baby checkup and vaccinations

Saturday night-up half the night watching Shirley Temple movies with me because she can't breathe well and is coughing. Bill slept in her room to make sure she would be okay.

Sunday March 22nd- trip to urgent care: 2 chest x-rays and blood drawn, has upper respiratory infection and goes on antibiotics (which she loves, by the way)

Monday 23rd- children's hospital to have her hips x-rayed to make sure there are no signs of hip dysplasia (from being breech at birth), and they drew a vile of blood from her finger for a lead test.

Monday 30th- back to children's hospital to redo x-ray of hips-they need a clearer angle

Tuesday 31st- developed head to toe rash, went to her dr. to find out what it was, came away with a diagnosed ear infection. Got stronger antibiotics for another 10 days. The rash is a side effect from her vaccinations 2 weeks ago.
Tuesday night, she's miserable from the rash and ear infection, so we read books together from 3-4:30am.

Today, I think the worst is behind us. She's still clingy and wants to be held (which is nice, but I know she's not herself when she's like this.)

Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to:
She LOVES eating an apple by herself.
