Olivia's Surgery

Olivia had her tonsils and adenoids out in February. This is pre-surgery.

This is after. She was a trooper. She stayed home from school for 2 weeks, and she needed all of that time to recover. It was a lot of pain, but now that we're on the other side of it, I'm glad we did it when we did. She's sleeping much better and no more sore throats.

Cleaning

The kids wanted to earn some money, so they did some cleaning. Gabe dusted. Olivia "washed" the kitchen floor. What I find funny is how she had to do a total outfit change just to wash the floor. She came downstairs saying now she was ready, in case she got really wet. Ummm? Just so you know, this is not what I wear when washing the kitchen floor. Also, apparently in our family, eye protection is very important :)

Olivia turns 6

It's hard to believe she's 6 years old. Seems just like yesterday she was 7 lbs :) We're so thankful for her; for her creativity, femininity and energy, her desire to give to others in need, and for her spunk.

She chose this meal, meatballs, bread and oil dip, and veggies. And of course, fancy sparkly juice.

For dinner and presents, she changed into a "fancy" swimsuit and skirt :)

She received lots of nice things, and among those, an American Girl Doll, Rebecca. Now Audrey Ann has a sister!

A chocolate cake for our 6 year old!
