Olivia found a "chair" within the first few mintues of arriving.
My mom holding Belle, with Olivia insisting she's ready to hold her.

Olivia is so proud of her baby cousin (Belle is 4 months old)

She also has to try everything Belle does.

from Salt Lake City to LA

This is the view on I-80 in Utah--a lot of salt!
Beautiful rock formations in Nevada
Our new state!
San Francisco from the Bay Bridge at sunset.
We stayed Saturday night with my dad's cousin Jill and her husband Elias. We had a great time and had a personal tour of the city from Jill in the morning. We hope to see them and their family a few more times while we're out here!
The view from Elias and Jill's living room window. If you look closely, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge.
Alcatraz at sunrise from their window.
Lombard Street (I jumped out of Jill's car to get this, so that's why you can't see the actual curvy street. We are literally at the very bottom, and there weren't cars behind us.)
Downtown SF
Chinatown
Heading toward the Marina (Golden Gate park is to the left, and the Wharf is to the right.)
Jill and me

Jill and Elias on their patio.
Bill and I went back to the park and hiked up to and walked out on the bridge.
View of SF from the Golden Gate.
Funny seals
Sunday night we stayed in Fresno and headed out Monday to Sequoia National Park.
General Sherman the Sequioa is the largest living tree on Earth (total mass-wise)
The views were breath-taking!

We arrived in Sun City Tuesday afternoon and have been here a week! Bill starts classes Thursday and is almost all set on campus. It's sureal to be out here!

Cabins in WI

We were able to enjoy being up north on the water a lot. These first few pictures are from my parents' place on Windfall Lake, near Bruce. Note: it was about 60 degrees most of the time.

Her first look at the lake this year.
Loves to do what Grandma does. (they're reading)
Peter came up for a night and went sailing.
It was really windy.
Happy girl on the dock.
Peter being creative due to too much wind.
It warmed up during the day enough to play in the water.

These next pictures are from the Peters cabin in Minong (my brother-in-law's family.)
Greta in a fishy floatie.
My sister Holly!
Olivia had to have everything Greta did and loved floating.
Addie mowing the lawn.
View from the lake up to the cabin.
The slide was fun!
Olivia's favorite boat.
She loved to float on her back.
Aksel and the girls playing in the play house.
Papa and the girls in the morning.

Nebraska and Wyoming

This is the first day of our road trip (Thursday August 13th). My parents have Olivia for a week while we spend a couple extra days driving to LA. My mom will fly out with her next week. This is my first time being away from her overnight, and it's going great!

We have seen a lot of energy windmills. They're huge! These are from Iowa and Nebraska.

We had the privilege of staying with my college roommate and her family. They live in Omaha and have 2 beautiful girls. This is Anna, 18 months.
And this is Emmalee (almost 4)
The girls together.
