Tuesday-Luau

This was a traditional Luau. We watched a show and Bill even participated in a hoola contest. The food was good, but what I really enjoyed were 2 of the best virgin pina coladas I've ever tasted.

Holly and Greta visit VA

So, it's a week later, but I can't deprive anyone of these pictures any longer:) We had a wonderful time together. Greta has grown quite a bit since I last saw her in July. I hope these pictures give you a glimpse of her amazing personality.

This past weekend was spent painting, measuring, more measuring, and then more paint. Bill was the mastermind behind the mechanics of it, and such a sport! I have to say that the results exceed my expectations! Our friends Dennis and CJ gave us their beautiful light pink Brat Decor Jane crib. What a blessing it will be.

Halloween Party

We went to an amazing Halloween party. We got the idea to go as "ceiling fans" from a friend of mine. Simple elegant, wouldn't you say?

Christmas at the Store Part II

We had this huge mirror "piece" with no where to put it, so my friend and coworker Karyn, painted us a fireplace. I can't wait to see the end result w/the "mantle" all done up.

Christmas at the Store

Christmas has arrived here at Sisters Unique! After taking pictures of the whole store, I realized there's a reason my sister Holly (and not me) is in the professional photography business:) I thought I was being so creative, and then nothing really turned out. But, here's a glimpse of beauty at the store.

For the cause of Baby Sprouse

So, at my place of employment, (a beautiful home furnishings and design store) the men's bathroom has been out of order for months because we've stored our Christmas merchandise in there. That leaves one bathroom for all employees and customers. There are times in which I have to "go now." And I wait and wait and wait.

I have an amazing coworker, Rebecca, who is in charge of a lot of the un-boxing and merchandising here. She stayed late one night last week and totally cleaned out the bathroom for me! And, she posted a sign for me to find in the morning. I think the tulle on the toilet bowl w/ the sign "Baby Sprouse" is also a nice touch :) Needless to say, I don't have to wait anymore as we'll keep it "out of order" due to several boxes still in there.

Dating during pregnancy

So, Bill told me he had made reservations and was taking me out. I was so excited until I realized I was really at the mercy of maternity hand me downs to wear. Don't get me wrong-I've acquired some great things, but most of them don't quite fit yet. So, this is what I came up with to wear and it worked just fine. We had an amazing gourmet meal at Create Bistro and finished off the evening watching The Office with some friends.
